If you have a view or suggestion as to how our parish is able to make plans to address some of our pastoral concerns, we invite you for this day of prayer, reflection and discussion, to share with us some of your thoughts and inspirations. Please refer to the bulletin back page for the discussion questions for the small group sharing and for the open forum during the PA.

SHINE JESUS SHINE YOUTH RALLY 2008: Novena Church is conducting this power-packed and spirit-filled youth event on Mon, 8 Sep at 7.30pm at the car park of Novena Church. All youths are welcome.

CHILDREN & TEEN CATECHETICS
L9S FAMILY MEETING: Fr Gerard Weerakoon will be meeting up with all L9s and their families from next week onwards. All L9s parents have been informed by email. We would appreciate that all L9 parents confirm their appointments with their teen's Catechist as soon as possible. Please note that all L9s must return their reflection sheets by this weekend to "Secondary Catechists" Letterbox.
CALLED ON A MISSION: In support of L9s post-confirmation mission trips

It will be held on Sun, 7 Sep 2008 from 2-5pm at The Attic. Tickets are being sold at $10 by the youth outside. please give them your support. Any queries please contact Kelly (9848 6495).
- CANTEEN
The L9s will be running the canteen on Sun, 14 Sep and we ask you to spread the word to your families and friends to savour the food that they are preparing.
Thanksgiving Mass for Community Service Programme (CSP) and Ministry Involvement Programme (MIP)
Level 8 and Level 9 will complete their CSP and MIP at the end of August! We'll gather on Sun, 7 Sep at the 5:30pm Mass to give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for walking with us every step of the way. We invite parents, God-parents, and members of various ministries who have been instrumental in their support to join us in giving thanks. Students are to arrive at 4.30pm - L9s (at the front of the main church) and L8s (in the canteen).
ENTRANCE RITUAL FOR L8 YOUTHS: We invite all L8 youths, parents and God-parents to attend the mass on Sun, 14 Sep at 5.30pm. The L8s will be invited to express their desire to continue in their process of preparation leading to the Sacrament of Confirmation and it also serves to inform and seek prayer support from the parish community. L8 Youths are to gather outside the Main Church by 4.45pm.
EXAM MASS: It will be held on Sun, 21 Sep at 3.00pm for all Catechism Students. The celebrant is Fr Gerard Weerakoon. We encourage all students to come with their families and God-parents.
