YO! HEY! YOU! Guess what’s back? tHE conference 2008! Wanna “Receive the Power”? (Acts 1:8) Come and get it on Thu & Fri, 4 & 5 Dec 2008. We’re bringing the theme and experience of World Youth Day 2008 back to the youths of the parish.

It’d be 2 full days of Exciting & Empowering Workshops, Fun Games & Activities, Praise & Worship, Eucharistic Adoration, Night Rallies with Special Guest Speakers and Great Fellowship with youths of the parish, youth leaders from other parishes and the Holy Spirit!

Admission Pass at $10 each on sale this weekend (Admission Pass is in the form of a wristband). Get one for yourself or bless your friends, your teen, your niece or nephew with one.

Come, be Blessed, and be Empowered with the Holy Spirit to be Witnesses in your Families, Schools, our Parish and our Country!

We invite all L8 youths, parents and God-parents to attend the mass on Sun, 14 Sep at 5.30pm. The L8s will be invited to express their desire to continue in their process of preparation leading to the Sacrament of Confirmation and it also serves to inform and seek prayer support from the parish community.

L8 Youths are to gather outside the Main Church by 4.45pm.

Novena Church is conducting this power-packed and spirit-filled youth event on Mon, 8 Sep at 7.30pm at the car park of Novena Church. All youths are welcome.

The Youth Ministry Office is organizing an Archdiocesan Youth Day on Sat, 18 Oct 2008 from 11am to 9.30pm. All L9 Confirmands are invited for this event.

Consent forms have been emailed to L9 Parents. Any requests for additional details or consent forms can be email to Amy at hscatechism [at] gmail [dot] com. Deadline is on Fri, 29 Aug 2008

As part of their fund raising for their mission trips, Called on a Mission, the L9 youths are organising RIOT! FOR A CAUSE – a concert by several bands and performers from our parish and around it.

It will be held on Sunday, 7 Sep 2008 from 2-5pm at The Attic. Tickets are being sold at $10 by the youth outside. As the youth have been very generous with their time and talents for the mission's cause, please give them your support. Any queries please contact Kelly at 9848 6495.

There will be no catechism class for all levels on the weekend of 5/6th July 2008, in celebration of Youth Day.

A healing youth rally with Fr. Simon Pereira and friends will be held on Sun, 6 July, 4.00 – 6.00 pm at ACS Barker Road, Concert Hall. Admissions for 16 – 30 years old only.
