Our parish in collaboration with the Thomson Community, is participating in the SAVE @ Thomson Project.
Items to be collected are paper products, old clothes and aluminium/plastic bottles. Collection period is from Mon, 15 Sept – Sun, 28 Sept 08 and the bins are located beside Se7en Miles (Youth Room, beside the lift on Level 1).
We strongly encourage our parishioners to support this project as items will be converted to cash which will be for the benefit of the poor in the Community.
Parishioners who are interested to volunteer for a door-to-door collection from a few private estates in Thomson on Sun, 28 Sept, please give your names to Jarvis (98272300 or email jarvis [at] holyspirit [dot] org [dot] sg).
The kick-off for the event will be held in our Attic (Level 4) on Sun, 28 Sept at 9.00am and is officated by Mr Hri Kumar Nair (MP for Bishan Toa Payoh GRC). This is a community partnership with the various religious institution in our community, transport will be provided to bring the volunteers around the private estate.
