Sale of 2009 JRS Calendars at all masses on 15 &16 Nov. The calendar includes details of refugee programs and activities of JRS Asia Pacific and the hymn “Blessed are the Poor” specially composed by Fr. Leslie Raj S.J. for Jesuit Refugee Service.

The price is $10/= per calendar. All proceeds and donations will go towards JRS for their work with refugees and displaced people.

The L9s will be running the canteen on Sun, 14 Sep and we ask you to spread the word to your families and friends to savour the food that they are preparing. This is in support of L9s post-confirmation mission trips: Called on a Mission.

As part of their fund raising for their mission trips, Called on a Mission, the L9 youths are organising RIOT! FOR A CAUSE – a concert by several bands and performers from our parish and around it.

It will be held on Sunday, 7 Sep 2008 from 2-5pm at The Attic. Tickets are being sold at $10 by the youth outside. As the youth have been very generous with their time and talents for the mission's cause, please give them your support. Any queries please contact Kelly at 9848 6495.

L9 students will continue to raise funds for their formation activities, including their mission projects on Sun, 25 May 2008. Please support them generously.
