Catechism classes begin on the weekend of 31 Jan/1 Feb. All students who have registered online at www.holyspiritfaith.org before 1 Jan 2009, have been allocated to their 1st choice timing.

Year end break for all catechism classes begins on Sat, 15 Nov 2008.

The Divine Mercy Group in our Parish is invited to run this session on "St Faustina and her message of divine mercy" on the weekend of 8/9 Nov from 2.30pm to 4.00pm at the Attic.

This event replaces all catechism classes for ALL levels during that weekend. Primary Students are to attend the session on Sat, 8 Nov, while the Secondary Students are to attend the session on Sun, 9 Nov.

We are appealing for the following resources to better serve our children, teens and catechists for Catechism 2009.

If you have any of the following items, VCD/DVD players, LED projectors, laptops, photocopier, camera, video camera, tripod, stationery (pencils, pens, markers, etc), table crucifix, bible stands, Christian/education resources (cartoons, movies, songs, books, magazines, board games, etc), audio speakers, mikes, which are in good working condition, please deposit them at the parish office anytime between now to Sunday, 30 November 2008.

For existing and new students, please register online now at www.holyspiritfaith.org. For new students, you will need to submit a copy of your baptism certificate and if you are transferring from another parish, you will need to get a transfer letter from the parish that you last took your catechism.

Please drop the baptism certificate and/or transfer letter to the “Primary Catechists” letterbox at the 2nd floor lift landing. Existing students please register by Fri, 31 Oct 2008; and New Students please register by Sun, 30 Nov 2008.

We notice a growing numbers of family members waiting around the church premises during catechism sessions and would like to invite them to the canteen for a place to refresh, fellowship and pray. You can look forward to a simple refreshment station, a library of books, and prayer corner for your time with God.

At 2.45pm and 4.15pm, you can choose to join the Parent Intercessory Group at the prayer corner, who will conduct prayer session to intercede for our children and catechists.

We are starting on Sat, 11 Oct from 2.30pm to 5.00pm. It is open on Saturdays when there are catechism sessions. However, if the canteen is used for another purpose, please look out for informational signage outside the canteen for an alternative venue.

Catechism Classes for all levels will resume on Sat, 28 June 2008.
