12th Ordinary Sunday - 21st June 2009

In our daily living we tend to ward off as much disaster as we can. We spend a great deal of time planning ahead – having gas in the car, food on our pantry shelves, well-organized calendars so we can keep our appointments straight.

This gospel challenges us to meet whatever challenges come our way – and no matter how much planning and preparing we do, the challenges will come – as opportunities to grow in faith and trust in God as well as in those who live and work with us.
